What to expect from your initial appointment
Your initial will start off with a medical history and thorough assessment. We will then work with you to make a treatment plan that fits your goals and values. Treatment may include, but is not limited to, skin and nail care, self care advice, strength and conditioning exercises, activity modification strategies, strapping, orthotics, braces and footwear prescription.
To prepare for your appointment please bring the following to your consultation (if applicable):
- List of your current medications
- Any other relevant medical history
- Results of any investigations – X-rays, scans or pathology reports
- Current orthotics and footwear
- ACC claim number
- Private health fund details
- Comfortable clothing for musculoskeletal assessments
Payment in full is expected at the time of consultation. Podiatry Place accepts cash & EFTPOS.
Cancellation Policy – We ask that you contact us with sufficient notice, should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
How to find us
We are located at 20 Harley Street, across the street from the police station/courthouse.
Our main entrance is down the concrete path to the right side of the building, as pictured. There are steps with a safety railing.
Wheelchair access is available around the left side of the building, from St John Street.
Parking Options
There are several parking options available:
-Dedicated parking behind the building
-60 minute parking on Harley Street
-Carpool parking on Harley Street is available after 10am
There is also paid parking available in Buxton Square, a short walk away.
